All tenders published in TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) are captured on a daily basis. The Substitution Monitor combines the pharmaceutical registration number prescribed by the physician with the corresponding pharmaceutical registration number dispensed at the pharmacy, bringing together two perspectives in a single database. This gives you unique analytics opportunities that create full transparency from the original prescription all the way through to prescription billing.

To identify and manage supply shortages and out-of-stock situations at an early stage, we have developed a methodology that uses long-term trend analysis to define alert thresholds. This gives you a clear advantage: You gain early, weekly insights into medicinal product inventories in both OTC products and prescription drugs (Rx), enabling you to derive robust insights into stock levels as well as sell-in and sell-out dynamics.

The database covers 85 percent of all pharmaceutical patents worldwide and provides comprehensive key information on all compounds that are protected by a Supplementary Protection Certificate (SPC) and/or a patent, or are currently in development.
