Database

The data basis is a full coverage SHI billing data set obtained via pharmacy billing centers, showing all monthly billed prescriptions per payer by volume and value across different price levels. The complete rebate information from ABDATA, as well as the number of prescriptions under rebate contracts, is integrated into the database and can be analyzed for every statutory health insurance in Germany. Optional add-ons include KV regions, non-performance reasons, and aut idem information.

Products for Your Tender Management

Tender Alert

The Tender Alert supports the analysis of rebate contract tenders issued by health insurance companies for finished pharmaceutical products and provides all key rebate contract information at a glance. All tenders published in TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) are captured on a daily basis. You gain a timely overview of new tender opportunities – including based on your individual search criteria – enabling you to identify niche segments and optimize your production planning.

Substitution Monitor

The Substitution Monitor combines the pharmaceutical registration number prescribed by the physician with the corresponding pharmaceutical registration number dispensed at the pharmacy, bringing together two perspectives in a single database. This gives you unique analytics opportunities that create full transparency from the original prescription all the way through to prescription billing.

Market Movement Monitor

To identify and manage supply shortages and out-of-stock situations at an early stage, we have developed a methodology that uses long-term trend analysis to define alert thresholds. This gives you a clear advantage: You gain early, weekly insights into medicinal product inventories in both OTC products and prescription drugs (Rx), enabling you to derive robust insights into stock levels as well as sell-in and sell-out dynamics.
